100+Women can help support us by supplementing a hot meal monthly for 10 months for 10 people- directly benefitting women in our community. It may alleviate some caregiving stress or be a welcomed hot meal that allows people to know their community has not forgotten them. We continue to recruit volunteers who experience the gift of helping in their community. The majority of our volunteers are women and in some cases are widowed or living alone. Social isolation is lessened in rural areas by volunteerism and it takes a community to reach those in need.

The Foundation awarded $1700 to Whitewater Region Seniors to add to their food subsidy project. With this grant, they will be able to reach more seniors in need.
